Biography
Savannah Jordan Harris Unruh has family roots in Vero Beach stretching back over a century. She graduated from the University of Florida a year early, summa cum laude. While there she received the distinction of the Michael G. Hauptman Medal for excellence, which is awarded to the top student in each department, thanks to her honor's thesis, and was also inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Following in the footsteps of both her mother and grandfather, Savannah then attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law. After earning her Juris Doctor she returned to Vero Beach, joining Block & Scarpa's Civil Litigation department.
Savannah is also very involved in the community and recognizes the importance of civic service, devoting time as a Director of the Scholarship Foundation of Indian River County, a program that awards lifechanging financial support to students pursuing higher education, and as a Founding Partner of the Gifford Legal Services Clinic, which provides pro bono legal services to the indigent.
