Biography
Ms. Mazzola is a Florida Supreme Court Certified County, Family and Circuit Civil Mediator and currently focuses her practice on Civil Litigation.
Ms. Mazzola graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University with a degree in Psychology before earning her Juris Doctorate from The University of Akron School of Law. She was employed as a Senior Claims Adjuster with Progressive Insurance, where she obtained licensure in 48 states while working in Cleveland, Ohio and Tampa, Florida, before becoming the sole owner/operator of her own café on the Treasure Coast. She then went on to practice Probate at VanDeVoorde Hall Law, Family/Circuit Civil Mediation at Mazzola Mediation, P.L.L.C., and Family Law/Civil Litigation at Rooney & Rooney, P.A. Ms. Mazzola has since joined Block & Scarpa’s Civil Litigation Department and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Indian River Bar Association.
Ms. Mazzola uses her spare time to sharpen her woodworking skills or finds ways to give back to her community. In 2023, she was recognized in Sebastian, Florida for being the First Female to raise over $10,000 after raising $12,000 for childhood cancer through her involvement with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
