Biography

Mary Kate Clem is a lifelong resident of Vero Beach, FL and is the daughter of local attorney, Chester Clem, and former Supervisor of Elections, Kay Clem. She attended college at the University of Florida where she was awarded the highest honors for her honor’s thesis and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Studies. While at the University of Florida, Mary Kate was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Society for excellence in the liberal arts and sciences. Following graduation, Mary Kate attended the University of Florida College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor. Mary Kate’s primary focus is estate planning, probate and trust administration, business law and transactions. 

Mary Kate serves her community by devoting time as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Association of Indian River County, which provides much needed mental health services and programs to the community, and as a Founding Partner and member of the Attorney Advisory Committee of the Gifford Legal Services Clinic, which provides pro bono legal services to the indigent.
